CHILDREN’S PRIVACY POLICY

iSPORTZ, INC.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY POLICY

COPPA Notice — United States Only

Effective April 14, 2022  |  Last Updated: February 1, 2026

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING A CHILD ATHLETE IN ANY iSPORTZ-POWERED SPORTS PROGRAM.

This Children’s Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is published by iSportz, Inc. (“iSportz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware corporation with its principal office at 956 International Pkwy, Ste. 1590, Lake Mary, FL 32746. This Policy describes how iSportz handles personal information about child athletes under the age of 13 in its role as a sports management technology platform.

This Policy is required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506, and is posted at https://isportz.co/legal-COPPA as required by 16 C.F.R. § 312.4.

1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT

✔ THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO UNDERSTAND:  iSportz is a sports management technology platform — a tool used by sports organizations. iSportz does not run sports programs, does not recruit athletes, and does not have a direct relationship with your child or your family. The sports club, league, team, or federation that your child is a member of (the “Organization”) is the entity responsible for: (a) deciding what information to collect about your child; (b) obtaining your consent; (c) posting its own COPPA-compliant privacy notice; and (d) responding to your questions and requests about your child’s data. Contact your Organization first for any questions about your child’s personal information.

1.1  iSportz — What We Are and What We Do

iSportz, Inc. provides a sports management software platform used by sports organizations across the United States. The Platform enables Organizations to manage memberships, rosters, event registrations, schedules, and payments. iSportz does not independently decide what information to collect about child athletes. iSportz does not solicit or collect personal information directly from children. iSportz processes only the data that the Organization — your sports club, league, or team — enters or configures within the Platform.

Under COPPA, iSportz operates as a “service provider” — a technology provider that processes data on behalf of the Organization. The Organization is the COPPA “operator” with direct legal responsibility for parental notice and verifiable parental consent.

1.2  Your Organization — The COPPA Operator

The sports organization you have enrolled your child with — whether a club, league, team, school, federation, or association — is the COPPA operator. The Organization:

  • Has its own data collection policies and privacy notice
  • Determines what personal information to collect about your child and why
  • Is responsible for obtaining your verifiable parental consent before entering your child’s data into iSportz
  • Is your primary point of contact for questions, corrections, and deletion requests about your child’s personal information
  • Configures the iSportz Platform to reflect its own sports management needs

iSportz implements what the Organization configures. iSportz’s role is to provide reliable, secure technology infrastructure — not to set data collection policies or manage parent relationships.

1.3  Definitions Used in This Policy

“Child” or “Child Athlete” — A person under the age of 13 in the United States.

“Organization” — The sports club, league, team, school, federation, or association that has enrolled your child and uses iSportz as its management platform.

“Parent” — A parent or legal guardian of a Child Athlete.

“Platform” — The iSportz sports management software and services, available at https://isportz.co.

“Personal Information” — Information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a specific individual, including a child, as defined under COPPA.

2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION IS ENTERED ABOUT CHILD ATHLETES

iSportz does not independently collect personal information from or about your child. All information about your child athlete in the iSportz Platform is entered either by you as a parent or guardian, or by an authorized adult Administrator of your Organization. Your child does not directly enter their own personal information into iSportz.

The categories of information that may be entered about your child depend entirely on what your Organization uses iSportz for and what it chooses to collect. Common categories include:

IMPORTANT:  iSportz does not collect device identifiers, cookies, or persistent tracking identifiers from your child’s device. Any session or device data (such as IP address or browser type) is collected only from the adult’s device when a parent or Administrator accesses the Platform. Your child does not have a separate login or user session in iSportz.

3. PARENTAL CONSENT — YOUR ORGANIZATION’S RESPONSIBILITY

⚠ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARENTS:  Your sports Organization — not iSportz — is responsible for obtaining your verifiable parental consent before your child’s information is entered into the iSportz Platform. iSportz does not have a direct consent relationship with you. If you have questions about how your consent was obtained or want to withdraw it, contact your Organization directly.

3.1  How Consent Works

COPPA requires that the organization collecting your child’s personal information obtain your verifiable parental consent before doing so. Your Organization — the sports club, league, or team — is that organization. Your Organization is responsible for:

  • Having its own COPPA-compliant privacy policy that describes its data practices and identifies iSportz as a data processing service provider
  • Providing you with direct notice of what information will be collected about your child and how it will be used
  • Obtaining your verifiable parental consent through one of the FTC-approved methods (such as a signed consent form, payment-with-notification, or email-plus verification) before registering your child
  • Maintaining records of your consent

When your Organization uses the iSportz Platform to manage your child’s registration, roster placement, or athletic records, it is acting on your consent that it obtained through its own process. iSportz receives and processes that data as a service provider acting on the Organization’s instructions.

3.2  iSportz’s Role in the Consent Process

iSportz does not independently obtain parental consent. iSportz processes your child’s data because your Organization has entered it pursuant to its own consent and data governance process. If you did not consent to your Organization collecting your child’s information, contact your Organization directly to withdraw from their program or request deletion of your child’s data.

iSportz’s Children’s Privacy Policy (this document) describes how iSportz handles child data at the platform level — what restrictions apply, what iSportz will and will not do with the data it receives, and how you can contact iSportz if you need to. It does not substitute for your Organization’s own required COPPA privacy notice.

4. HOW iSPORTZ USES CHILD ATHLETE DATA

iSportz uses child athlete data only to provide sports management services to the Organization that submitted the data. Specifically:

4.1  Permitted Uses
  • Storing and displaying roster, registration, and athletic performance information to authorized Organization Administrators, coaches, and (where the Organization configures it) parents through the Platform
  • Generating reports and analytics requested by the Organization about its athletes, teams, and events
  • Processing payments made by parents for registration and membership fees, through our payment processor Stripe (a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor)
  • Providing technical support and customer service to the Organization relating to child athlete data
  • Maintaining the security, integrity, and availability of the Platform

4.2  Prohibited Uses — What iSportz Will Never Do With Child Data

iSportz makes the following absolute commitments with respect to all child athlete data:

iSportz Will NEVER:

Why This Matters

Use child athlete data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or interest-based advertising

Your child’s sports data is for sports management only — never for marketing

Sell child athlete data to any third party for any purpose

Child data is not a commercial asset at iSportz

Share child athlete data with advertisers or marketing companies

No advertiser has access to child data through iSportz

Make child athlete data publicly accessible without Organization authorization

Data visibility is controlled by your Organization’s settings

Use child athlete data for any purpose beyond providing the iSportz Services to the Organization that submitted it

Purpose limitation is absolute for child data

Retain child athlete data beyond the period necessary to provide the Services

See Section 6 for retention periods

Allow sub-processors to use child data for advertising or unauthorized purposes

All sub-processors are bound by the same restrictions

5. SHARING CHILD DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

5.1  Service Providers (Sub-Processors)

iSportz uses a limited number of technology service providers to operate the Platform. These providers process child data only to the extent necessary to provide their specific service to iSportz and are contractually prohibited from using child data for any other purpose, including advertising. Key service providers that may process child data include:

5.2  No Advertising Networks or Marketing Third Parties

iSportz does not share child athlete data with advertising networks, data brokers, marketing companies, social media platforms, or any third party for commercial purposes. iSportz does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools that would expose child data to third-party advertisers.

If your Organization’s own website or communications platform uses third-party advertising tools, those tools operate under your Organization’s privacy policy — not iSportz’s. Contact your Organization for information about their advertising practices.

5.3  Legal Disclosures

iSportz may disclose child data if required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority (such as the FTC in a COPPA investigation). In such cases, iSportz will notify the Organization unless prohibited by law from doing so.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP CHILD DATA

iSportz retains child athlete data only as long as necessary to provide the sports management services to the Organization. The following retention periods apply:

iSportz does not retain child data for any commercial purpose after the Organization’s subscription ends. iSportz does not archive, sell, or repurpose child athlete data following deletion.

7. YOUR PARENTAL RIGHTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM

As the parent or legal guardian of a child athlete, you have the following rights under COPPA with respect to your child’s personal information:

7.1  How to Submit a Direct Request to iSportz

HOW TO CONTACT iSPORTZ:  Email: support@iSportz.co | Subject Line: “COPPA — Child Data Request” | Include: (1) Your full name and your relationship to the child; (2) The child’s full name and the Organization or team they are registered under; (3) Your specific request: Review / Correction / Deletion / Consent Withdrawal. iSportz will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete it within 30 days. iSportz may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request. There is no charge for submitting a parental rights request.

7.2  Why You Should Contact Your Organization First

Because your Organization is the COPPA operator and the entity that manages your child’s sports program, your Organization is your most direct and efficient point of contact for data requests. Your Organization’s Administrator has direct access to your child’s records in the Platform and can fulfill most requests immediately using the Platform’s built-in tools. iSportz will always process direct requests sent to support@iSportz.co, but routing your request through your Organization first is typically faster.

7.3  Effect of Deletion on Sports Participation

If you request deletion of your child’s personal information, iSportz will permanently remove that data from its active systems within 30 days and from backup systems within 90 days. Please be aware that deletion of your child’s data will affect the Organization’s ability to include your child in team rosters, event registrations, performance reports, and related sports management functions. iSportz will notify the Organization when a deletion request is received so the Organization can manage the impact on program operations.

8. HOW WE PROTECT CHILD DATA

iSportz implements security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of child athlete data. These include:

  • Encryption of all data in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security) — data moving between your browser and iSportz is encrypted
  • Encryption of data at rest on iSportz’s AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Role-based access controls limiting who within iSportz can access child data — access is restricted to personnel with a documented need
  • Audit logging of administrative access to child data
  • Contractual security requirements imposed on all sub-processors who may access child data
  • Regular review of security practices appropriate to iSportz’s size and operations

iSportz hosts its Platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which maintains industry-leading physical and infrastructure security, including SOC 2 Type II certification.

No security system is completely impenetrable. In the event of a data security breach affecting child data, iSportz will: (a) notify your Organization within 48 hours of becoming aware of the breach; (b) cooperate with any law enforcement or regulatory investigation; and (c) take appropriate remediation steps. Your Organization is responsible for notifying you as a parent in accordance with applicable law.

9. ADVERTISING — WHAT iSPORTZ DOES AND DOES NOT DO

This section addresses a question many parents have about online platforms and advertising.

Question

iSportz’s Answer

Does iSportz show ads to my child?

No. iSportz is a B2B sports management tool used by Organizations. Child athletes do not have a consumer-facing app experience with advertisements.

Does iSportz use my child’s data to show targeted ads?

No. iSportz does not use child data for advertising of any kind — targeted, behavioral, or otherwise.

Does iSportz sell my child’s data to advertisers?

No. iSportz does not sell child data to anyone for any purpose.

Does iSportz use advertising trackers or pixels on child accounts?

No. iSportz does not deploy advertising cookies or tracking pixels. iSportz may use analytics tools to understand Platform usage in aggregate, but these are not used for advertising and do not target individual children.

What about ads on my Organization’s website?

If your Organization operates its own website separately from the iSportz Platform and that website has advertising, those ads are governed by your Organization’s own privacy practices — not by iSportz.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

iSportz may update this Children’s Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law (including COPPA amendments), regulatory guidance, or iSportz’s platform practices. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy
  • Post the updated Policy at https://isportz.co/legal-COPPA
  • Notify Organizations of material changes via email or Platform notification at least 30 days before the effective date

Organizations are responsible for communicating material updates to this Policy to parents and guardians of child athletes in their programs, consistent with their own COPPA operator obligations.

Your continued authorization of your child’s participation in an iSportz-powered sports program following a material update constitutes your acceptance of the updated practices, to the extent that acceptance is relevant at the platform level. For consent to new data practices that would affect your child, contact your Organization, which must obtain fresh verifiable parental consent as required by COPPA.
