By accessing or using the iSportz Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to the iSportz Master Service Agreement (MSA) available at https://isportz.co/sports/legal_docs/msa/.

QUICK REFERENCE — WHO THIS POLICY COVERS

iSportz acts in two legal capacities depending on the data involved:

2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1  Information You Provide Directly

When you register for, access, or use the iSportz Services, we collect information you provide directly, including:

2.2  Information Collected Automatically

When you access the iSportz Platform, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information:

  • Device information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type and identifiers
  • Usage information: pages visited, features used, time spent, links clicked, session duration, error logs
  • Log data: access timestamps, referring URLs, server requests
  • Location information: city, state, and ZIP code inferred from IP address — not precise GPS location unless you expressly enable location features in the Platform
2.3  Cookies and Similar Technologies

iSportz uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform. For full details on what cookies we use, how to control them, and your opt-out options, see the iSportz Cookie Policy at https://isportz.co/sports/legal_docs/cookie-policy/. In summary:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Platform to function — cannot be disabled
  • Functional cookies: remember your preferences and settings
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how the Platform is used in aggregate — no individual advertising profiles
  • iSportz does not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies on the Platform
2.4  Information from Third Parties

iSportz may receive information from third parties in the following limited circumstances:

  • Integration partners: if your Organization connects iSportz with a third-party service (such as a payment gateway, background screening provider, or communication tool), that provider may share data with iSportz as required to deliver the integration
  • Payment processors: Stripe provides transaction confirmation and payment status information to iSportz
  • Background screening: NCSI provides background check results for coaching staff where your Organization uses this feature

iSportz does not purchase data from data brokers, does not import social media data without explicit user authorization, and does not combine Member data with third-party advertising data.

2.5  Website Visitors (Unauthenticated)

If you visit isportz.co without logging in, iSportz collects standard web analytics information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referral source) solely to understand website traffic and improve the site. This data is not used for advertising profiling and is not combined with authenticated user data.

3. ORGANIZATION DATA — HOW WE PROCESS DATA ON YOUR BEHALF

✔ KEY PRINCIPLE:  iSportz is a sports management tool. It stores and processes only the data that Organizations enter and configure. iSportz does not independently collect, create, or determine what Member data is gathered. The Organization is the Controller/Business with full responsibility for its Members’ personal data. iSportz is the Service Provider/Processor acting on the Organization’s instructions.

When an Organization uses the iSportz Platform to manage its Members, all personal information about those Members (“Organization Data”) is:

  • Entered into the Platform by the Organization’s Administrators, coaches, or authorized parents/guardians
  • Processed by iSportz only to provide the iSportz Services as instructed by the Organization
  • Never used by iSportz for its own marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes
  • Never sold or shared with third parties for their independent use
  • Governed by the iSportz Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available at https://isportz.co/sports/legal_docs/data-processing-agreement, which the Organization accepts as part of the MSA

Members who have questions about how their personal information is used within an Organization’s sports program should contact their Organization directly. iSportz can assist with Platform-level data actions (such as deletion) upon instruction from the Organization.

4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

4.1  To Provide and Operate the iSportz Services
  • Creating and managing user accounts and Organization profiles
  • Providing access to the Platform features configured by each Organization
  • Processing payments through Stripe for subscription fees and event registrations
  • Delivering technical support, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues
  • Sending service-related communications: account verification, billing confirmations, security alerts, and platform updates
4.2  To Improve and Develop the Platform
  • Analyzing aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to understand how the Platform is used and where improvements are needed
  • Diagnosing technical problems and improving platform performance and reliability
  • Developing new features and services based on aggregate usage data
  • Conducting internal research using de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to individuals
4.3  For Safety, Security, and Legal Compliance
  • Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions, abuse, and security incidents
  • Enforcing the iSportz Terms of Use and MSA
  • Complying with applicable US federal and state laws
  • Responding to lawful requests from regulatory authorities, law enforcement, and courts
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims
4.4  Marketing Communications (Administrator Opt-In)

iSportz may send marketing emails to Organization Administrators about new features, product updates, and iSportz events. All marketing communications include an unsubscribe link. Administrators can opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe or emailing support@isportz.co. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications (billing, security, platform alerts) which are sent regardless of marketing preference.

4.5  What iSportz Does NOT Do With Your Information

iSportz Will NEVER:

Why This Matters

Sell personal information to any third party

Your data is not a product at iSportz

Use Member data for advertising or behavioral profiling

Member data is for sports management only

Share personal information with advertisers or data brokers

No commercial data monetization

Use Organization Data for iSportz’s own marketing

Organization Data belongs to the Organization

Combine Member data with third-party advertising data

No cross-platform tracking of Members

Use child athlete data for any commercial purpose

See Section 7 and the Children’s Privacy Policy

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

iSportz uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform. This section is a summary. The full iSportz Cookie Policy, including the complete list of cookies used and opt-out instructions, is available at https://isportz.co/sports/legal_docs/cookie-policy/.

iSportz does not respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT at this time. iSportz does not use cross-site tracking for advertising purposes.

6. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

iSportz shares personal information only in the following circumstances:

6.1  Service Providers (Sub-Processors)

iSportz engages US-based service providers to help operate the Platform. These providers access personal information only to the extent necessary to perform their specific function and are contractually required to maintain confidentiality and data security. Key service providers include:

6.2  Within iSportz Corporate Family

iSportz, Inc. may share information with its subsidiaries and affiliates (including iSportz Pvt Ltd) solely for the purpose of operating and improving the iSportz Services. All such sharing is subject to the same restrictions in this Privacy Policy.

6.3  At Your Direction or With Your Consent

If an Organization configures the Platform to share data with other platforms, integration partners, or third-party services, iSportz facilitates that sharing on the Organization’s instruction. iSportz is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that Organizations choose to integrate.

6.4  Business Transfers

If iSportz undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. iSportz will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

6.5  Legal Requirements and Safety

iSportz may disclose personal information when required by applicable law, court order, or lawful government request, or when iSportz believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of iSportz, its users, or the public; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) enforce iSportz’s Terms of Use or MSA.

6.6  Aggregated and De-Identified Data

iSportz may share aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data — data that cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual — for research, analytics, benchmarking, or industry reporting purposes. This data is not personal information.

WE DO NOT SELL PERSONAL INFORMATION:  iSportz does not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA/CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140) or under any other applicable US State privacy law. iSportz does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

iSportz is a B2B sports management platform directed to adult sports administrators. iSportz does not market to children, does not allow children to create accounts, and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

When sports organizations use iSportz to manage youth athletics programs, information about child athletes (under age 13) is entered into the Platform exclusively by parents, guardians, or authorized adult Administrators. The sports Organization — not iSportz — is the COPPA operator responsible for providing parental notice and obtaining verifiable parental consent before entering any child’s data into the Platform.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY POLICY:  iSportz’s full COPPA notice, including what child data iSportz handles, platform-level protections, and how parents exercise their rights, is available at https://isportz.co/legal-COPPA. For questions about your child’s data, contact your sports Organization first. To contact iSportz directly: support@isportz.co | Subject: “COPPA — Child Data Request”

If iSportz discovers that it has inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 13, iSportz will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe this has occurred, contact privacy@isportz.co immediately.

8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights with respect to personal information iSportz holds about you as a Controller (i.e., iSportz Data, not Organization Data which is controlled by your Organization). For Organization Data, contact your Organization.

8.1  Rights Available to All US Users
8.2  California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.):

  • Right to Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information iSportz has collected, used, disclosed, or sold about you
  • Right to Delete: request deletion of personal information iSportz has collected about you, subject to exceptions
  • Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: iSportz does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising — this right is not applicable but is honored
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: request that iSportz limit its use of sensitive personal information to providing the Services
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: iSportz will not deny, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right

To exercise California rights, email privacy@isportz.co with subject line “California Privacy Request.” iSportz will respond within 45 days of a verified request. iSportz may extend by an additional 45 days with notice where reasonably necessary.

8.3  Other US State Residents

Residents of Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, and Florida have additional privacy rights under their respective State privacy laws. These rights are substantially similar to those described in Section 8.2 and include rights to access, correct, delete, opt out of certain processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, email privacy@isportz.co with your State of residence and the right you wish to exercise. iSportz will respond within 45 days of a verified request.

8.4  How iSportz Verifies Requests

iSportz verifies privacy rights requests by matching the information provided in the request against the information iSportz has on file. iSportz may ask you to provide additional information to verify your identity before processing a request. iSportz will not fulfill a request it cannot reasonably verify. There is no charge for submitting a privacy rights request. iSportz will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8.5  Authorized Agents

California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on their behalf. iSportz will require the agent to provide written authorization signed by the consumer and may verify the consumer’s identity directly before processing the request.

9. DATA RETENTION

iSportz retains personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the iSportz Services, and to comply with applicable law. The following retention periods apply:

When retention periods expire, iSportz uses secure deletion methods that render data unrecoverable from active systems. Backup data is purged through scheduled backup rotation cycles.

10. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

iSportz implements technical and organizational security measures appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the personal information we process:

  • Encryption in transit: all data transmitted between users and the Platform uses TLS 1.2 or higher
  • Encryption at rest: data stored on iSportz’s AWS infrastructure uses server-side encryption
  • Access controls: role-based access controls limit who within iSportz can access personal information; access is restricted to authorized personnel with a documented business need
  • Authentication: iSportz requires strong passwords and is implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all staff with production system access
  • Infrastructure: iSportz hosts the Platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which maintains SOC 2 Type II certification for its infrastructure
  • Personnel: all iSportz personnel with access to personal information are subject to confidentiality obligations and receive data protection training
  • Vendor management: all sub-processors are subject to written data protection obligations

No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a security incident affecting your personal information, iSportz will: (a) notify affected Organizations within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach (48 hours for breaches involving child data); (b) cooperate with any law enforcement or regulatory investigation; and (c) take appropriate remediation steps. Organizations are responsible for notifying their Members and applicable regulators as required by applicable US State breach notification laws.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The iSportz Platform may include integrations with or links to third-party services and websites. iSportz is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. When you access a third-party service through an iSportz integration, that service’s own privacy policy governs its data collection and use. iSportz recommends that you review the privacy policies of any third-party service before sharing your personal information.

Organizations that configure iSportz integrations with third-party tools (such as communication platforms, video services, or background screening providers) are responsible for ensuring those integrations comply with applicable law and for informing their Members accordingly.

12. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY DISCLOSURES — SUMMARY TABLE

The following table summarizes iSportz’s personal information practices for California residents, as required by the CCPA/CPRA. These disclosures cover iSportz Data (data iSportz collects as Controller). Organization Data is governed by the Organization’s privacy practices as Controller.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

iSportz may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable US law, regulatory guidance, or iSportz’s data practices. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy
  • Post the updated Policy at https://isportz.co/sports/legal_docs/privacy-policy/
  • Notify Organization Administrators of material changes via email or Platform notification at least 30 days before the effective date

Your continued use of the iSportz Services after the effective date of a material update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not accept the updated Policy, you must stop using the Services and contact support@isportz.co to close your account.

14. GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The iSportz Services are operated from the United States. iSportz currently conducts business exclusively within the United States. All personal information collected through the iSportz Services is processed and stored in the United States on AWS infrastructure.

Privacy rights disputes are subject to the dispute resolution provisions of the iSportz MSA, including binding arbitration in Seminole County, Florida. See https://isportz.co/sports/legal_docs/msa/ for full dispute resolution terms.
